We are excited to announce that the Ninja Academy will hold a Club A point-able tournament in Peterborough on Saturday March 15th 2025 at the Peterborough Sport and Wellness Centre.  Age categories range from U10 to Veterans and we are introducing a new event called Freestyle Judo™ where pairs or singles can demonstrate their own creative up-to 5-minute routine that fosters the spirit of Judo: Seirokyo Zenyo and Jita Kyoei.   Shiai will begin at 9am.  Please find the technical package below:

Register here for the Golden North Open happening on March 15th 2025 starting at 9am at the Peterborough Sport and Wellness Centre. This is a Judo shiai for female and male athletes ages U10, U12, U14, U16, U18, U21, Senior and Veterans. Shiai registrants can include their: Age, Weight (kgs), Belt Rank, Date of Birth, and Judo Canada # in the notes to seller. If any information is missing we will reach out to you. Athletes will receive communication on start times and weigh-in periods before the event in order to make the best use of everyones time. Extra divisions can be selected from the registration below. Freestyle Judo™ competitors start at 8am on March 15th and can register as a single or pair and provide the competitors: Name(s), Age(s), Belt Rank(s), and Judo Canada #.

We have had amazing success delivering over 2500 classes to kids as young as 14 months old to adult classes.  Our Academy has created a system of learning that not only promotes effective long-term athlete development, it also has a high retention strategy to keep a strong roster.   The package is more than just a name, it is a philosophy and practice that is tested and true.  Please see below for the cost of holding the Ninja Academy licence for your dojo:

• Ninja Academy License with 16 hours of training: $2000/year
• Ninja Academy License without training: $5000/year
• Ninja Academy Licensed Coach: $500/year

All licensees must be evaluated to ensure Ninja Academy philosophies are adhered to in the highest form possible, the license costs does not include materials necessary for program implementation.  These cost extra because of the varying number of students in each gym.  Schools can also hold a license of the Ninja Academy program, which includes: training and delivery of the basics of ukemi and physical literacy facilitation.  Fitness clubs can train their staff to provide this valuable program in child minding or fitness rooms.  Martial arts dojo's can train their instructors to be able to provide quality programming to kids as young as 16 months old and to facilitate retention and succession planning.  Training and program delivery costs vary according to size of staff and students, but reflect the costs listed above.
